Welcome to Alpha Autoworks, where your vehicle's well-being is our top priority. I'm Billy Smith, the founder of Alpha Autoworks, and I'm proud to call northern Virginia my home. Born and raised in Chantilly, I currently reside in South Riding. At Alpha Autoworks, I am a one-man team, dedicated to providing you with exceptional automotive repair services.

My journey in the automotive world began at the age of 15, back in 2008. I started from the ground up, working in my father's automotive repair shop, "Chantilly Automotive," located right here in Chantilly, VA. I began with humble tasks like sweeping floors, taking out the trash, and stocking shelves, but my determination and passion for cars drove me to take on more responsibilities. As time passed, I found myself changing oil, replacing tires, and performing general maintenance. Eventually, I delved into the intricate world of diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles. It was within those four walls that I gained invaluable knowledge, learning from brilliant minds, including my father, who generously shared his wisdom and expertise at every turn.

In 2014, I decided to spread my wings and broaden my automotive experience by working in a dealership setting. Fast forward to 2016, and I began repairing vehicles for friends and neighbors in the comfort of my own home garage. Word spread quickly about the quality of my work, igniting a dream within me – the dream of opening my very own automotive repair shop, which I aptly named Alpha Autoworks. I spent countless nights in that garage, envisioning the future of my business. At the time, I was just 23 years old, not yet ready to take the leap.

Subsequently, I continued to expand my skills and knowledge by working in another dealership while continuing to perform side jobs until April 2020. In early 2020, I finally mustered the courage to leave my secure job as a dealership technician to chase my entrepreneurial dream. However, just as I made this monumental decision, the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses shuttered, panic spread, and information about the virus was scarce – a challenging environment for any new venture. Many advised against my decision, fearing the unknown, but I persevered. I'm proud to say that, as of my writing, Alpha Autoworks has been in business for about 3 years.

We are car enthusiasts who believe in the power of exceptional customer service. Our mission is simple: we aim to leave every vehicle in better condition than we found it.
